Yes, I'd guess that the Ham band would be a better choice. HOWEVER! The Ham
bands are usually so clear that SOME ham pilots don't pay much attention;

Well, speaking just generally; I'd guess bad. Tom Hoopes certainly would
know.
I'm simply thinking that holding any frequency for 8+ hours at an event
wouldn't be good. Plus, with that many people, you run some extra risk of an
erroneous "shoot down".
What do you Utah folks think?
