Yes. The claims about the self discharge rate being extremely slow
are completely true. It's extremely nice -- you charge them up, and
they *stay charged* even weeks, months later, even

Hi Jeff and All,
I have three 4-cell Eneloop AA size receiver packs in service in F3B/F3J
models and an 8-cell pack in my Graupner/JR MX22 transmitter.
I have no information on their internal resistance but they live up to all
their manufacturer's performance claims.

No they are your basic consumer AA cels make sure you use a hot soldering
iro so you don't have to sit there with the iron heating up the whole cel.

The reduced self discharge rate is totally true. My RX packs held 5.75 v for
6 months which is what they were 10 mins afetr the charge was complete.

Anyone using the new sanyo eneloop batteries?
The sanyo site says they have reduced internal resistence, but they
don't give numbers.
Just sales info.

Just talked to Barry and Ed, both on their way home, "loved the show",
"really filled up", "lots of amazing planes on display", Barry said that he's
going to have a double booth because he often had a few layers of customers out
in to the isle.
Everyone is tired but happy having been there
That is correct. The tips are set at speed when aligned with the wing tip so
normal cruise is slightly below that (1-2 degrees).

much worse than last year. Several years ago I could not get thru the
