Perhaps someone can just machine some Delrin pockets. Different cuts for different
wire sizes. Make them deep and you can just cut
them down to the depth of pocket that suits your need.

I used to be sick and tired of hearing about the RADS system,
I volunteer to design and machine one Delrin pair of pockets if someone
will install them and test and report to us the results. I will machine
them to whatever dimensions you want, tolerance +-.001". Delrin and
aluminum can be compared. Somebody who flies an awful lot would be the best
candidate
