Hm, I forgot the name of my first RC glider that I got in the late 80's. It
was an Ace 1.5M all foam wing glider with a power pod on top, powered by a
Cox .049, all fished out of the hobbyshop's bargain bin together with a $30
Futaba 2-channel AM system. It never flew all that well - although
My first glider was a Jetco Thermic 72 FF. I had lots of fun with it. It
has some hanger rash now.
My first RC glider was a Ace High Mk II with an 0.049. I had lots of good
flights with it. However, I learned to fly RC on a Midwest Aerolectric.
Both of my sons and I learned flying with it.
