I am active in ARCS, which operates the Palmer field. We usually have a
couple thermal duration contests there each year. In addition, there is a
slope combat group that gets together in Anchorage when the wind is blowing
from the south, and a smaller but growing group of hand launch
Yea, but I bet you can fly in the summer until 10pm or later!
