Lee, For basic colors: I like Krylon $2.99 spray can paint. For fancier colors: I like Testors Model Master enamel in spray cans or for airbrush. I try to breathe as little of either as I can. Both paints clean up with mineral spirits, the mildest solvent in my shop. My current favorite pinhole
