Just for grins - here is the FAI teams that the AMA supports and the number of people allowed for each team. They also support the F3J Junior team at the same level, I am not sure about the junior teams in the other events. You can see that the funding commitment for all of this is significant fro

Good post about team expenses. Much as I dislike the F3X events, I support our teams and try to make a small donation. (Us retired fliers don't have Gordys resources) I also think all donations should be voluntary.Another problem for AMA is the increased number of teams to be supported
