I've to say, after 4 years of using net6501, I am disappointed.
Mine net6501 was bought in 04.2012 and worked till 01.2015 stable. After that,
the mainboard just died. There were several posts here on this list about that
problem, as I was not the only one.

I can compare to the old passive cooler.
The new one is better, my net6501 is running about 5-6 degree cooler.

My soekris net6501 has been also now replaced.
All symptoms are gone and the new mainboard is working perfectly fine.

The specification is version 1.0a. Normally, cards with higher standard are

Apparently, I've found the cause. It seems, Marco was right.
I've found out, that both WD Red drives have a Jumper for "RPS".
RPS stands for Reduced Power Spinup, which means,
the HDD powers slower on and thus, needing less power during

That will be difficult. I am not using the desktop case. I have the rack case

Hi!
Recently my net6501 started to have problems with a reboot.
After executing a reboot from Linux, the net6501 is stopping and does not boot

I've to push manually the reset button, in order to get the boot started again.

I don't think so. "sensors-detect" does find some monitoring? chipsets,
