Hey guys,
An animator here just asked me if Softimage has an equivalent to Maya's
Euler filter.
I haven't used Maya in years but I didn't have an answer for him. I assume
that due to rotations being represented as quats for us we don't have
anything similar.
Is there a tool that I can point hi
Just installed SP1, no problems so far and it's nice to see a few pet bugs
have been fixed.
Thanks for the update.

is there a way (avoiding loop/ while nodes)
to define an array of point id's that dictate the order they are assesssed.
i can think of plenty of ways with loops etc but im drawing a blank for an
efficent way of doing it.

Well put Peter.

Thanks Kamen - To compound my frustration, Autodesk is being very closed
about discussing this issue with me.

i think this was mentioned recently.
but im curious what the intended workflow is for dealing with attributes
over topo operators?
ie geo with preexisting uvs has an extrude operator assigned.
the uvs now display 0,0 for all nodes.
traditionally any new nodes/samples generated extruding via the i

I love Modo but it is in NO way ready for even moderate production loads. I
know because I've tried to implement it here for commercial production and
there are quite a few roadblocks that hold it back. That's not to say it isn't
capable on smaller jobs, it most certainly is.
As it stands now

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share a piece of information I discovered while developing

We were having an issue where Soft would hang when we were extracting the
scene for rendering after deleting a light in the scene.

Thanks for the mention of my plugin Stefan.

see.

Modo is one of the possible candidates. I was working with LW for four years,
and I was working with modo for a while. It's quite different, but it might be
a good direction. Of course it's just my opinion, my bosses will make the
decision, but looking at the facts, if the price increase is that
