If it's a photoreal centre piece, bite the bullet and give it topologically
aligned thickness. You will pay through the nose later if you don't.
Translucency/SSS alone will make or break a membrane in 90% of the lighting
scenarios, and you simply won't get that one right without thickness.

Rogue operator or cluster in the curve's construction history?
Try freezing the curve. Otherwise, rebuild using a 'fit' operation.

I've got this sceneisn't that how it always starts? Anyway, when I load it
a Bezier curve comes in which takes a different shape than it is supposed to

Hi gang,
with my partner we were discussing crossproduct "theory" and I'm not
sure what to believe or think.
I was persuaded that the result of a Cross Product of a PointPosition
(x,y,z) and a vector 0,1,0 plugged in a the PointVelocity, would give a
particle orbiting around 0,0,0 describin
Sweet! Exactly what i needed. Thanks for the help!

I don’t have softimage in front of me, and it has been a while since I have
done it but I think you need to add something like “cid*strideLength” where
stridelength is a value you need to determine in the effects area in the clip
properties for the hip and 2 foot controls (for a biped).

Hi guys,
does anyone know how to correctly loop an animation clip, lets say a walk
cycle, using the clip effects? trying to set the correct offset for my
animation and is driving me mad.
Thanks in advance...

For what your situation is sounding like (since it needs to go to Maya) I
think your best bet, like I mentioned before, is to point weight a single
sided wing proxy and GATOR the results onto the final "thick" wing.

The creature will be the focal point of one shot and reasonably large in
frame. The biggest pain against the single sided membrane I'm working
against it getting it surfaced cleanly. The front of the wing has volume
and it was modeled with T intersections as it loops back on itself. I just
see it b
This has been discussed a few times, and it's just not possible by design.
As Pedro said ICE have to cache all the references before executing the
tree.

I wished mate... some cool stuff it could be done right there with sting
manipulation :/
But this is due that references are solved before the rest of the tree,
right? So they have to be in place before the actual string manipulation
takes place, right?
Cheers
and this happens only with the 2015 developer help, the user guide help is
working fine for us

Just to add that we never had this issue before till 2015 version.
Previous versions of the help, for example 2012 up to 2014 always worked
and still works fine.

It works for us on IE 10, Chrome v35, and Firefox browsers. I will log this as
an issue.

Yeah it really bugs me out that all the Autodesk 2015 documentation doesn't
work in IE (11). It works in Chrome, but buggy.
Believe it or not but a lot of people actually use IE as default browser.
Please fix this Autodesk!

It opens in 1 out of 3 machines here in the office with chrome v35, the
left bar doesn't open http://prntscr.com/3yle6e
Also doesn't open properly with IE 9 http://prntscr.com/3ylenq
It only seems to work fine with Firefox on those machines
