Try this trick:
- Open up movie in QT
- Window -> movie properties
- select video track (don't turn it off on checkbox just select)
- Down in transparency from drop down menu select Blend and then pull
transparency level to 100%. Image should loko like whitish and washed out
- then back to dropdow
Hey all
We're making a sequence in 3D that's lit and rendered fine, (Arnold , exr),
composited in Nuke, and rendered from Nuke as 8 bit . Tiffs..then brought
into After Effects to edit and make a QT, for Facebook.
Up until the QT is made, the color is just right, upon viewing the QT, the
Plugins are cached (right click one in the Plugin Manager).
And there's a cache of PPG layouts.
Never had the global PPG not defined problem.

I have been tearing my hear out for hours now while working with a plugin
not knowing if I'm seeing the updates I've been making.
It's total voodoo. Sometimes when I reload, all is well, sometimes I'll
break something on purpose to be certain that it's reloading/updating
correctly only to find th
Just never thought of having to update the license file as well, as I
figured the MayaS 2016 file would still be valid for the SP2 as well...
Thanks for your patience, all...

Problem solved...
After going back to registeronce and getting a new license file, there does
appear to have been something wrong with my original license file,
dating from the time when the MayaS 2016 bundle was first released, as it was
missing an "INCREMENT 86269SFTIMSIB_2016_0F" block.

They told me they began Malcom 2.0 in Softimage, later ported to Maya. So
for them ..doing the XSI version it's easy, they have the base already. But
we need to show them some love.
Hope everyone here drop them a line. btw the guy behind Malcom Love

Could you use the Plugin's UserData to pass the struct between plugin
types? I never heard of using the context from one plugin type being used
in another plugin type.

Have you tried Autodesk's licensing parser to validate your file:

You have allocated pData on stack, it gets destroyed right after the
allocation scope exit ( after the PutUserData call ), use dynamic
allocation instead
I am looking for the way to pass a "struct" from Tool Class to the
CustomOperator_Update() callback.
I saw two approaches to this in SDK. First one should work via UserData
attached to ctxt. You store in this
data C++ pointer to allocated memory with your struct. Second one is to
create Property an
Yep, I talked with the guys at animschooll back on June of this year. They
said they will stop Malcom for softimage, and their softimage animation
courses.
But if they have given you recent word they will put efforts into bringing
Malcom 2.0 to softimage, be it so!!

My normal answer to this kind of question would typically be contact support. I
am not sure otherwise as you would need to talk to the licensing team. You
could try the chat here.

Could there be something wrong with my license file?
Is there someone who could check this, where I could send my current license
file to?
Normal "interfaced" Softimage 2015 and Maya 2016 run properly off it,
Only problem I've faced so far are the missing "2016" batch licenses...

I can help clarify. There is no difference. There was no Softimage 2016 so for
the 2016 release of the Suites and the Maya/3ds Max bundles a 'bridge' had to
be created for Softimage 2015 to go into the new offering. This was the R2
version and apart from licensing requirements there was no chang
I just installed 2016 ECSU and recalled seeing this in the release notes:

The Softimage Notes suggest that SI 15 and 16 are identical. I suspected
