How do you preview the audio in AE.
If you use Mercury Transmit to preview on a secondary monitor
(preferences->Video Preview), eg a SDI Reference Monitor, and the audio is
set to play through the SDI signal to be in sync on the secondary monitor
(Preferences->Audio Hardware), then if you only have
Im pretty sure there was another .pic format that was different than
Softimage .pic, and that is what is "deprecated" on OSX. As far as i
remember it was an indexed format like gif so max 256 colors. So having
.pic support and its expecting an palette-indexed image and getting a

Hi
A bit late to this discussion.
But i had the exact same problem with an even older Softimage version
(v7.1), when i had the brilliant idea to switch my Local Windows account to
a Microsoft account login.
When i started with win8 i created a local account and everything worked in
softimage as in
This is very generous of you guys.
i see that it only goes back to Softimage 2012, is there a anything
technical stopping someone getting it to work in Softimage v7?
(pre-Autodesk) ...other than the problem finding someone with more
programming skills than me, and having the issue like me with bei

Hi
I know i am a bit behind on my softimage license, v7.0.1, and from today i
even cant upgrade it anymore... well havnt been able to for a long time :-(
My more pressing problem though is i want to keep using this fine version,
but im moving to a new workstation running windows 8.1, and im havin
only been a lurker on this list, but a relative long time Softimage user
(since XSI v4), and considering my next options so count me in an webinar
too

Hi Olivier
As default is PS always colormanaged. Have you tried to turn on Proof
Colors in PS (View->Proof Colors) and set the proof color to Monitor RGB
(View->Proof Setup->Monitor RGB)
This way you will see the colors in PS as in all other non color managed
applications.
Does this correct it?
