Do you mean a problem with `yum clean all'?
I have 1.2 on the server side and the client seems to be 1.4.15 so that may
explain it.
Not a problem, I can live with that
x27; said "0 sqlite files removed" even
though there's a lot of them under /var/cache/yum. Anyone else seeing that?
PS. after removing the /var/cache/yum/$CHANNEL subdir yum finally noticed the
updates.
Thanks,
Michael

could be split up and you should be
able to control the order of scripts (even those implicit ones) when using
kickstart wizard interface.

Yip, looks like at least the implementation of ContentPackage has changed.

No, the rest seems fine, just the changes to reposync broke it. When I have
some time I'll try to find the relevant code in on-line repo browser and see
if I can do anyth
use the --type=yumsubset option for repos which I have
in that config file (i.e. those I want to limit), all others are synced
without it which defaults to type=yum and gets all packages.

If you have everything as described here and still get an error paste the
traceback here sure.

It's not a proper solution, but may work for you in the meantime.

And a second question is, even if there's no UI in Spacewalk for that now,
could I still do provisioning that way by creating system records on command
line before kickstarting a host?
Kind regards,

here any
limitations/drawbacks why this would not be appropriate?
I'm thinking at least it should be possible for Spacwalk to generate a
bootstrap script (maybe in Python to use Yum directly) for completely new
clients which gets what it needs from Spacewalk server. Thoughts?

PS. I've noticed it creates new revision for the file even if contents and all
properties are the same, I know you can work around that in the client code by
checking everything first, but IMHO it would make API much easier to use if
this was "built-in", what do you think?

taking any revision number parameters, I also verified this with
`api.getApiNamespaceCallList`.

Unless something's changed?
Anyways, that may not be the cause of problems in this case, but just in case.
