What exactly should happen when -max-children is reached?
We run spamd with -m 30 and are starting to see some issues when we hit
that number. In the log files I can see that it is not forking a new
child like it is supposed to (Dec 19 04:16:22 spamav2 spamd[5159]: hit
max-children limit (30): wa
e traverse different versions of Exchange.

I tried option 1 and it also modifies the headers the say way as if you
access the public folder with a IMAP client. Maybe the mail client
(outlook 2003 for me) is modifying the message when it moves the
message?

The way we have it setup is we have a public folder on the exchange server for spam
(and/or ham) and there is a script on our spam server that reads the public folder,
creates a file for each message, and deletes the message from the public folder. Then
all you have to do is run sa-learn on the
