Hi, I just did a virgin install of OpenBSD 3.2 and used the 19/11/2002 CVS driver for the Alcatel Speedtouch USB Modem. Modem_run worked fine and I got sync to my ISP (see attached message) but I got an error when I used 'ppp -background adsl'. I am new to OBSD and really want to use it as a fi

Hi, It looks like you (or the Mandrake installer) installed the kernel mode drivers. When you plug the modem in the speedtch module is now automatically loaded. This conflicts with the user space drivers - modem_run included. If you want to stop this from happening so that you can use the user
