Hi Doug, No offense taken. It was just a thought that I had, and figured I'd ask the list. While I'm not an engineer, I did go to school for mechanical engineering many years ago. I have some concept of the forces involved and in strength of materials. I believe it is possible to design a roll

Anyone in the UK know where I can get one of the above? Its the part on early Mk1 Spitfires that acts as an overflow pipe for the expansion tank from the radiator. I think I have trimmed mine for the last time, as it has split again. All the recognised sites dont seem to recognise the number or

If your car is sitting level (on the wheel or on blocks) simply measure up from the floor to the mount bolt on the rear mount of the bumper. Then match the dimension on the side, (from floor to rear mount bolt) You probably can't use the body hole of the rear mount as the mount is not symmetrical

Bill, No offense, but are you serious? You are concerned about saving your noggin, but are willing to use an adjustable roll bar? I wouldn't want my life to depend on any hinges or bolts that would be used that would allow the bar to pivot or shrink. Either modify the top so that it fits over the

Hi Listers, I have got to drill new holes for my rear bumpers - I have the rear holes - just not the ones on the sides. I don't trust myself to drill the holes in place "so they look" right - there must be some accurate way of achieving this properly...? Any clever ideas? James 69 Signal Red
