Dave, a couple of 4 in bolts with the head cut off and a slot cut in the end, screwed in to replace the outer two bolts that screw into the block at the top, make for guides for sliding off and on, plus holds some of the weight. Aligns it all when you put it back. The engine usually needs a jack

IMO I would disassemble the rotor. Check the bearing seat, caliper bolts, and spindle. You got something that's not sitting right. Clean everything, remove pads and see what you have. A warped rotor could do this. Lay it on a good flat surface and use your dial indicator to see if it's flat. You mu
