Hello all,
Does anyone know if Factory Mutual has a restriction on doing size on size
welded outlets?
We’ve asked the question direct to FM, but they are slow to respond so far…
Thanks,
Ed

Would there be a cost savings to add a ceiling vs in-racks and the potential
damage incurred from fork lifts hitting the in-rack sprinkler/piping?

Why would different voltages, or the addition of an elevator motor make a
difference whether a pipe can go in and out or not? If a pipe that enters a
room is going to leak, why is the leak different if it stops in the room or
passes through?

Is it allowed for a sprinkler pipe (with sprinklers) to enter one end of the
electrical room and continue through and exit to another non-electrical room?
Pipe is not passing over any equipment.
Are the any special rules that set elevator machine rooms apart from normal
electrical rooms?
Thanks
