. The manufacturer will get on board. Almost invariably if they don’t
label that’s what it anyway.

Could anyone assist with determing the level of classification of aerosols per
NFPA 30B?
I'm trying to determine the total chemical heat of combustion for some aerosol
products (8600-13,000 btu)??
Product MSDS sheets don't identify.
Thanks in advance.
Ames will sell you a preassembled backflow with a PIV valve. It just adds a
lead time to the order.

Yeah, they’re exactly the same
Ames/Watts will NOT go on record to allow it without a thrust block @ the turn
up elbow. Practicality?? to rod back, but no document to allow. Just went
through the same scenario.

ach one of those assemblies is likely more expensive and intrusive
than sprinklers would be in an adjacent space.

Are you folks seeing strip malls which are using some IBC code?? that
supposedly allows unsprinklered spaces in only certain assembly occupancy lease
spaces. For instance, a strip mall that has 2 of 6 spaces only sprinklered
with 4 only having feed mains through unsprinklered space? I thought
Most definitely. Just last week we verified a 6 psi static loss of psi on the
system side of the bfp, in relation to a fire hydrant's static located just 20'
from the building.

I should have asked the question. Is the mezzanine open to the rest of the
building. U was referring to a mezzanine abov
what density would be required for a mezzanine level located in a mercantile
occupancy that only houses the hvac unit and NO storage allowed in the area?
Could one provide a .1 or a .15 density? Any help with a reference?

In a dry attic system, Is it ever allowed to install a low-point drain with
just a 1 valve located in the attic, then CPVC piped out the building? No

scenario, but I dont believe there is an
issue with connecting black steel to black steel (with a zinc coating).
Would anyone know of any data to support either side of the fence on
this issue.

I'm confused by your response. The pipe is only subject to the air
around it in the office building. No moisture concern. Existing 1 x
12 long galanized drops to acoustical tile ceiling, lets say.

to a sprinkler or sprinkler drop shall not
xceed 12 in. (305 mm) for steel pipe and 6 in. (152 mm) for
opper tube.
It says cumulative horizontal length. So, if you have 20 of total
orizontal length, you need a hanger.
