I had the exact same thing happen updating to latest nightly today.
Deleting the cache folder worked
Code:
cd /var/lib/squeezeboxserver
Code:
sudo rm -r cache
Restart LMS or reboot.

If that's the same as a reserved IP address, I just did it.

Apologies for being unclear - it is nowhere. Not in active, not in

It would be a good idea once everything is working to give your LMS

Does it still not start up? You might want to wipe the cache folder,

If the Pi is going to be an LMS server it is better practise to leave it
wired. It will work wirelessly but you are likely to get stability
issues.

So
Leave the server wired. Does it have a fixed IP?

What should then happen is that a Touch will connect to the SSID on the

Hi Michael,
thanks for your support and your never ending effort to keep the
community alive :-)
I have now deleted this instance of LMS completely, and gone back to a
previous release. So far, the problem is gone. That's why I (in the
first place) assumed that some bug had crept into your latest

Yes, that is crucial, as we don't have binaries for newer Perl versions
on Windows. PM me if you can't find an installer for 5.14.

and maybe make some contributions to the code, but my attempts to get

Unix info. (I say outdate
