Thinking about this (at least in theory to understand how it would work). Should the old router/WiFi Access Point have an SSID that is different from my new router (the one connected to the modem)? If so, I may have the problem described above (new router loses internet connection). If they are to have the same SSID how does that help me? And why "(temporarily)"? Linksys says my old router (Linksys E2500) can be configured manually as a WAP. I appreciate your assistance.
