Thank you Paul. I've been reading a lot about what you guys are doing
and it sounds great... the only reason I haven't tried piCorePlayer
already is that I'm using berryboot because I really want to have a copy
I read about flac and sox but not sure how to test it. Could you provide
examples how to test them? The --logifle and other settings are already
set inside squeezeboxserver.service under systemd and not by me
actually.

already set by squeezeboxserver.service under systemd which is done by

I would like to install LMS on my Raspberry Pi 3B+ which is fitted with
a HiFiberry DAC+ and a 7" touch screen. My goal is to get the Jivelite
interface running so that I can use it as a digital media player on my
home stereo playing local audio files on a USB drive.

First test the transcoding applications - if they don't run then you
have the version of LMS installed is not right one for your DietPi OS.

I have never used Dietpi as when I have looked at it I think "jack of
all trades, master of none" and the install procedure seems a convoluted
process:(.
But that is just my opinion and why I suggested piCorePlayer (you'll get
a much more up to date LMS).
But anyway, can you post a couple of
Any messages in the server.log file ?
The issue is whether LMS is crashing or just getting blocked wait for a
reply from RadioTune which provides the Radio station data.

Not much of a help from me, I'm afraid, but a couple of suggestions.
Can you verify the Squeezelite client is installed and working correctly
on the Beaglebone?
If it is, then my suggestion would be to get another sd card (or use the
one you have) and run (the latest and greatest)LMS on
I just installed Squeezeboxserver at Dietpi OS version 6.8. The hardware
is Raspberry PI 2 B. The Squeezelite client is running at another
Beaglebone Black sbc. When I tried to click Radio > Music > Blues Music
