"disk"?
Perhaps it is only in LMS memory and not ever written to a file.

I have this Proxy Question. I know that there's a setting to have LMS
request all streams through a proxy.
Now I was wondering if it was possible somehow to only have LMS proxy a
few radio streams, while accessing all other ones directly.

When I say crashes what really happens is the scan doesn't even start.
LMS is saying that it's rescanning but no progress happens even after
many minutes. If I click abort scan that sometimes doesn't even abort.

Since July my server stays in 'starting' mode for half a day or more
during a restart. Once it's going it works fine. This happens
regardless of whether i reboot my computer or just restart it from the
Local Services mcc. It always freezes at this point in the server log:

That is a good thought... I wish I knew how to check it!

There's that confusion around DSTM which I probably never will be able
to get rid of: DSTM doesn't add any track. It's only an enable for other
plugins to get triggered once the music would come to an end. What mixer
plugin would you us
Is that all there is in the log? Checked scanner.log, too?
How do you figure out whether it's starting or ready?
What plugins are you using?
How large is your library?
Did you try a full wipe & rescan since?

@Michael:
Since a long long time ago we "knew" that storing playlists in the same
location as the music library end in doubles/triples links to files in
the library.
