I had issues with broken plugin packages after a perl update. Maybe have
a look for any dpkg-old or dpkg-new update residue.

I'm facing the same problem: After upgrading to 2.09.01 QLMS won't start
anymore.
Does downgrading to 2.04 mean to simply do a manual install using the
corresponding 2.04 qpkg? Are all individual LMS settings kept alive that
way?

Thank you - download was good and LMS functions as expected. Just
installed over the top of the latest Nightly

Yes, same here, not that I ever use it but there's something wrong
there.

Well, I couldn't wait until my new Pi arrived, so I experimented a bit
with my running LMS. I re-applied the user rights on the whole music
folder. At first it didn't seem to make any difference, but when I
looked at it again some hours later (after a programmed scan for new
