did you by any chance find some sort of solution ?
I'm actually having the exact same issue, resulting from the very same
use case (adding songs to some static playlists over time, not knowing
if they're already present).
I'd even consider any kind of external (meaning out of the LMS

Wired/wireless makes no difference. Some albums seem to stutter and
others don't.

If I remove custom-convert.conf then seeking works 95% of the time. It
still skips to the next track very occasionally.
The problem is that with certain albums I get the stuttering that the
custom-convert.conf fixes.
An example of an album that is causing the stuttering problems is

Hi
I got the update prompt a couple of days ago to go to 7.9.3 but since
the update I can't get LMS to run as administrator. Right clicking the
Start Menu shortcut and selecting run as adminsyrator doesn't work and
I've even opened the location for the shortcuts and changed their

I think Tune-in/Radiotime may have changed to comply with UK court case
and UK usewrs and now provide info about "restrictions" whereas before
they did nothing.

I have LMS V7.9.3 installed on my Windows 10 Desktop.
Starting it manually, I find this in the server log

The scanner.log is for the scan process - and is not related to
Favourites.
Take a look at the server.log to see if it has any clues.
