Incidentally, as I said, there may well be better and/or easier ways to do this that I have overlooked. If so, I hope someone will take pity on me and give me at least a hint at a clue. It wouldn't be the first time I've put effort into doing something that's already been done more effectively.

It's actually finished a complete scan. A normal clear & rescan usually takes about 44 minutes, this scan took 85 minutes. But only 27 minutes for the FTS index. I need to go out now, let me know if you want me to supply any logs or other and I'll upload them when I get back. Sure,

Hello! I am trying to find out how volume control is handled when I am using LMS 8.0 with UPnPBridge and a Sonos speaker (Ikea Symfonisk). When I am using AirplayBridge the volume is simply controlled by LMS via Material Skin. Is this the same for UPnPBridge? Or do I have to control the volume

Restarted LMS a couple of times from the pCP ui, rebooted the Pi, still can't get into LMS or it's settings. As always: check the server.log. It might give you a hint. Eg. LMS might be trying to re-build the FTS as it didn't get created in the previous scan. -- Michael
