I am not sure how different. I don't think the issue of the remotes is
relevant - it just makes troubleshooting a bit more difficult for me.
Mine does go through a variable startup pat

when LMS restarts itself, all "non-supported" plugins are deleted.
Previously, I could manually install such plugins by copying them into
cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins. That still works, until I let the server
restart itself
Update, it only works intermittently. I'm still gettting the error even
with the reliable plug-in installed sadly. Anyone else having a hard
time with this podcast? Is it really just a syntax error in their feed
that only I am complaining about?

Hi Michael!
Today I've upgraded from the defunct Synology package (8.0.1) to the
latest semi-stable Docker image (8.1.1-dev). After fixing the the paths
in the various preferences and playlists, everything was fine until the
first restart of the server (triggered via the Plugins tab). Apparently

Hi There,
I need some instructions / how to install the new Version on Synology
NAS DS218 please. Is there a version especially for the NAS or how do I
have to install?
Could anybody give me a hand for that?
Thanks so far, Sonicxs

I may have a different situation from CameronD. I have all my remotes,
they all work fine.
I am doing this with two different hosts. My LMS 7.8.1 is running on an
old ESXI vm running Debian. My new LMS 8.1 host is Ubuntu 20.04 VM on
Hyper-V.
I tried it with both hosts live and running. My B

To my knowledge it is custom to reserve the term OP for the person that
placed the Opening Post.
So let me explain to you the Excito B3. It is a NAS type system on which
the designers explicitly invited buyers to experiment running different
applications and services on. LMS was in fact pre-installed as a Debian
package and one of the buyer options was to have a squeezebox touch
included. LM
