There unfortunately are a few issues with the new Mac builds. They could
be related to signing. What confuses me is that not all systems seem to
be

Thanks a lot MrC! I think you're on the right path: while I do sign the
installer, I never signed the new Perl binary, or the PrefPane! I'll

OK, thanks, I did that and granted full disk access to that version of
perl and rebooted. Still got the perl access request, allowed it, and
LMS still can't see the Boom players.

I can't select it or drill down further.

Ok, here's a workaround. You need to ad-hoc codesign the important

Lame was not installed but is now + rebooted. Some progress.
My physical SB players seem to play - I am short on time atm and they
are not in ear shot. I could see the play time increment which is
promising.
However my main player is a squeezelite but

UPnP/DLNA is accepted industry standard. That is a fact. Whether it is
good or bad, it is a protocol that is widely supported by nearly all
hardware producers. By implementing it as a part of LMS functionality,
it would allow the usage of any streamer with LMS. And that would mean

OK this is the command line to start squeezelite.
It is not using an option ("-m") to override MAC address.
LMS uses the MAC address as a unique ID to identify players.

can be overridden by a command line option.

What I would do.
Remove W7 disk from machine and put safely to one side.
Insert new SSD go to BIOS and make it the bootable disk.
Install W10 on it and install LMS but not configure.
Shut down PC
Add old W7 disk as second non bootable drive.
You won't be able to do dual boot but you will have

air and so much better. Many folks like

oops.. sorry its version 8.3.0 on Linux.
Good pickup with the cue files...The media files were all copied
directly from my previous install. So its strange that its complaining
