Thank you very much! I tested both and got it visible with the port mapping 9000:9000 tcp 9090:9090 tcp 3483:3483 tcp 3483:3483 udp. I had to add the IP of the LMS by hand on the Squeezebox, whereas the LMS on my iMac was found automatically. Anyway, now it works.

The bandwidth limiting option converts everything to mp3 on the fly, but you need to have lame installed on the system running LMS. In the player settings audio section, you will see the message 'The LAME encoder appears to be installed correctly on your system.' below the Bitrate Limiting
