I put it back when I saw id did not make any difference.

If you mean on Windows, the Computer Management -> Storage -> Disk
Management allows to map A: and B: in the same way as any other letter.
I do have a A: drive too. Never had any problem using A: and B: for
anything so

It's not enabled. I only left 4:
- Additional Browse Modes
- Drag & Drop
- Full Text Search
- Save Playlist
And there is only one Media Folder on B:\Music, the playlist being
B:\Music\Playlist.
This is nothing in the settings that points to ihumor.
I scanned my library and playlists to search for either the name of the
directory ihumor or for the funny-thelink file itself, nothing. Then I
scanned it for any file containing one of these 2 strings, still
nothing.
Then I made a script to
Hi mherger,
Thanks for trying to help.

I see know that rtfm was just a slur implying I'm ignorant.
Well, I solved my problems by myself, thanks for nothing!

I solved the problem of starting the server without visible a visible
window using this article:

I did not know about browsing folders, that's going to limit the number
of rescans, thanks.
But what is 'rtfm'? I don't see it in your screen cap.

Ok, now that I saw my spelling mistake, it's become easy to start and
stop LMS with a .BAT file like:
Code:
taskkill /F /IM SQUEEZ~3.EXE
taskkill /F /IM SqueezeSvr.EXE
(code to clean cache here)
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Squeezebox\server\SqueezeSvr.exe" >>

The cache gets corrupted when I do a rescan.
I do not try to read a folder that is no longer here!
But your idea to use tasklist is useful: I can parse the output, find
the PID number, and kill it. That works, thanks!

It happens when adding/removing disk folders, which I am doing often at
the moment testing new rips. Otherwise, it's stable.

Hi,
The LMS cache is often corrupted, and I need to clean it regularly.
To do that, I must first stop the server.
I'd like to make a script to automatize the process (on Windows 7 x64),
but commands like:
Code:
Net stop SqueezeSvr
taskkill /F /IM SQEEZ~3.EXE

A search with the name of the folder or the file does not show
anything.
I could have dropped a link by mistake, but it would have the same
name.

I made the test to stop the second (virtual) server, but the first one
is still crashing at rescan.
Code:
[16-12-03 12:34:17.2546] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1244) Warning:
[12:34:17.2544] Perl interpreter failed at

Noted. I was trying to show it in the post, next time I'll attach it
instead.

With a new install, it's short, but the forum does not allow to post it
entirely, so here it is:
Code:

Hi,
I'm using LogitechMediaServer-7.9.0-1477086729 on Windows 7 x64.
A while ago, it started crashing regularly, maybe after an increase in
the number of albums, I'm not sure what's been triggering the crash.
I tried a complete uninstall, clearing all data, removed all the plugins
I don't use,
Indeed, although I chose instead to re-install the same version, which
cleared-up the upgrade ready status.

Hi,
I'm happy with the 7.7.6 version I'm using, and don't want to upgrade.
The control panel taskbar icon keeps popping up a notification to remind
than an upgrade is available.
Is there a way to stop it from doing so?
