minimum bit rate or better. I have mine set to 192k so I
am only offered stations with bitrates of 192k through 320k, all lower

LMS works fine on my laptop with closed lid. Set sleep to NEVER and
when lid is closed set do NOTHING. Screen will still turn off when lid
is closed.
No LMS settings need changed.

Try stopping and restarting LMS. If that doesn't clear the issue I'd
suggest Antivirus or Firewall possibly blocking LMS.

Might be caused by an update to Win or firewall or anti-virus. Try
turning off LMS then reboot Radio. On Radio go to Settings > Advanced >
Networking > Switch to MySB.com.

If running multiple servers on the same computer. make sure they are
not trying to access the same port(s). That would definitely give you
the symptoms you are experiencing.

I'd also check firewall and antivirus blocking. Anything beyond 30
seconds to successfully launch LMS (1 min max) on a Win box, something
is very wrong.

If you still have old computer laying around with LMS on it, try
connecting SB to that LMS. If that works fine then you know it's
something on new computer.

Yes, not a problem. Touch *might* need to downgrade it's firmware when
connecting to 7.7.5, then upgrade firmware when connecting to 7.9.1.
Server version determines player firmware, upgrade/downgrade.

Another troubleshooting idea: once SB3 is on WiFi see if it can connect
directly to MySB.com and play a station (don't even have LMS running).

Check laptops IP for both wired & WiFi, make sure it's the same subnet.
Your router might be placing WiFi devices on a separate/different
subnet.
Might be a "guest" network setup.

No. Whether you register LMS with MySB.com or not, LMS still sees &
connects to MySB.com. If you use any Apps or even just the Internet
Radio default menus in LMS this is using MySB.com.

I believe they stopped using zip codes as an alternative to GeoIP
"local". They removed that menu item to enter a zip within your TuneIn
profile info. :(

Run the Mac's Activity Monitor, should show all running processes, you

Sounds like your pi (or LMS on pi) might be losing it's internet

No, it's TuneIn if using TuneIn app (as you describe). I added URL's to
my TuneIn.com UI online with the same result connected to MySB.com.
So the issue is the same whether you use LMS or MySB.com.

Also it can take a few seconds for
the players to discover new LMS servers on the network, or even a
changed IP of the same server. Which is why doing the Setup menu
scrolling above usually resolves the issue.

The FLAC info is incorrect, always has been. Just ignore it. It's
still lossless. Transporter isn't capable of 24/96. Just let LMS do
