You have not innstalled the UPNP bridge plugin by phillipe or whitebear
( another upnp add on ).
And rebooted after unistalling a grundmans upnp plugin ?

I had issues with installing Twonky years ago, while running LMS.
Different symptoms to you though.
IIRC, they both use 9000 port as default. Not sure where that setting

If the plugin is indeed disabled, then your Cambridge isn't connecting
to LMS, plain and simple.
I think you need to describe your problem a little better. Where is
Twonky insta
Under -Settings---Advanced---Remote Music Library- disable
"uPnp/DLNA-Client".

Sorry missunderstod op disabling the upnp plugin should do the trick (
Andy grundmans plugin ) or any other plugin thats makes LMS an upnp/dlna
server .
I thougth this was disabled by default ? , they are not nedeed for
normal squeezebox operation , but are for when you actually want to use
LMS wi

Changing the port won't stop the Cambridge seeing LMS via upnp. IIRC you
need to start LMS with the --noupnp option. Google it and you'll find

Not sure I understand your question, but I believe what you want to do
is to disable the UPnP/DLNA plugin in LMS. That way your Cambridge
player shouldn't see the LMS instance.

yesterday I installed LMS on a new Macbook pro to use as a 'server' with
a Squeezebox Touch.
at the same time the laptop/ server is appearing as a 'Library' in the
app for my Cambridge CXN Media player. I do not want the Cambridge CXN
app to be connected to the laptop LMS.
