Yup checked all folders were gone both from ProgramData and ProgramFiles
(x86) is it? Anyway no signs of Squeezbox or Logitech. Even ran a
search for *.prefs and nothing. I didn't check the registry though.
Z:\Music is not naturally a default folder, hence my wondering how the

It shouldn't. It's looking up the user's default folder for music,
photos and movies. Is this what you're seeing? Did you, after the
uninstall, double-check the folders were gone?

Okay then. The standard Windows 10 uninstall routine did remove
everything folder wise. It asks at the end of the process if you wish
to delete preferences, logs etc.
But installing from fresh again proves two failings:-

So, how do I go about fully removing LMS and all it's components,
settings and so forth, back to a fully 'clean' system from which to
attempt a new install please? Is there a clean-up.exe type thing that
will do this perhaps?

from another machine on my network and the recent install has re-enabled
all the plugins that were previously disabled. Arrggg!

I've had this issue before where an alarm being triggered shuts down the
LMS server. This was found to be caused by a number of 3rd party
plugins that were enabled from an earlier install.
But this issue has returned in 7.9.0. Trouble is I can't actually get
to see what plugins are enabled
