Not sure if this is related. Since installing 7.9.3, my ScanLog has
literally thousands of entries, all somewhat like this:

Yes I checked the logs and it's miles of fails.
It might be worth a check of the file/directory permissions of the new
drive. All the issues I had so far with scanning were caused by
inapproproate mount options.
