I've done it the other way round, it works with full text off, and no
playlists excluded. I've now excluded all bar the 7 playlists I want and
restarted full text. The scan is running, but it is somewhat slow which
I'm guessing is because it's starting from scratch.

Obviously going blind & or stupid, how do you turn off the full text
index is it library statistics?
Please try the iTunes playlist blocking first. I'll tell you afterwards ;-)

I'll see if limiting the playlists helps. At least it's a pesky iTunes
issue, not LMS.
I wouldn't say so. LMS just chokes on playlists with tens of thousands
of tracks during the fulltext index creation. Turn off one of iTunes or
Fulltext Index and you might be good.

Then I added a few playlists and did a rescan. Once again it hangs at

Oh, I think there's been an issue with iTunes exporting a playlist with
all "Downloaded" or similar files. Please check settings for the iTunes
plugin and enter all playlist names you
OK so I've done a completely clean install of iTunes imported the files,
but did absolutely nothing else to iTunes. I then ran the scan and it
completed with no obvious problems.

I tried it without itunes and it scanned to completion, so I'm guessing
it's something in itunes library.xml.
I've deleted the LMS library and got itunes to produce a new itunes
library.
Time will tell, if this doesn't work I'll try cleaning out itunes
completely rather than importing the old l
I've also attached the scanner log - just to be different the scan hung
at building full text index - albums.
There are just too many DB related issues in those files. I'd suggest
you shut down LMS, delete library.db and restart. This will trigger a
new rescan.

Could you please provide the full server.log.zip?
It may be connected to the group players plugin as I was trying that one
out at the time.
Uninstall and try again ;-). What other plugins?

Hi
I've had to move my LMS install to a new machine, which has been
reasonably ok, just the usual tracking down plugins etc.
This morning it crashed twice with this message
