The nontransparentized type proxy server is built and used with two-step
composition in Squid (squid 2.5-stable) now.
Although I wants to use service called BITS of Microsoft Corp., it is in
the situation which can perform only a part of file downloads.

Hello All,
I need to know how to limit maximum connection to the specific URL and from
the specific source IP. I want to limit the using of Download Manager, Flash
Get, etc from downloading one URL with multi connection without distrubing the
access from the browser.

Can squid offer any protection against malware such as 180solution's
zango and other spyware or worms such as the blackworm? I use these two
because one of my machines got each of those through my antivirus and
antispyware progs. What i was wondering is if squid could do scanning and

2GB of RAM and 36GB diskspace, and I allocated 20GB diskspace to the
cache. We have around 750 users utilising the cache at the moment and
it's running on a Suse10 box and uses Websense as a redirector.
