Thanks for the pointers - I have added the missing dependencies. Now I receive
the following. The results of ./configure are at the bottom of the email also.
I must be missing some other dependencies?

server needs more data from the client. Can you see in wireshark if the
token length is the one squid_kerb_auth says it is
squid_kerb_auth: Got 'YRYI...' from squid (length: 3607)

I think it's still worthwhile to allow the user to disable the footer, for
aesthetic reasons. If you're accelerating your site, you don't want that
showing up on your pages.
