only limit based on source ip connection, right ? it can't be used with other types of acl. perhaps it would be nice feature if it can be combined with .. let's say some regex of acl multimedia type. it would be easier to manage some partial content download. just my 2 cent, cmiiw -Agung-

I dont get what you are saying. The squid goes to privileged mode while writing the pid file and why does it require more than 755 to /usr/local/squid26s9TP/var/logs/ directory (this is ownened by nobody:nobody which is the squid user and group). -logu i don't know the reason

a lil bit correction, i didn't read whole of your threads, i have once in your same condition, i think if you use pure routing without proxy, it would works like a charm. but if you use proxy, you will still need the round-robin things with one default route. i don't know if others had no problem
