I want to know how configure my squid correctly I have a lot of users like
2000 and I would like to know what kind of machine I need to support all my
clients and how many redirectors I need to use squidguard.

Do I have to do anything at compile time, in order to use the
redirect_program directive?
I've specified the redirect_program for squidGuard, but it doesn't seem
like squid is passing acl stuff to squidGuard.

There is no check at helper.c:GetFirstAvailable for flags.shutdown and
if the helper is still alive and already flagged with shutdown flag,

Then your Squid is defenitely sending the requests to the redirector.

The port number in the requested url is not available for the url rewrite
(redirector) program, is it an expected behaviour.?
