Hi,
I got such errors when I changed cache_dir parameters in squid.conf.
It's because the old directory tree isn't suitable for new parameters,
and as result
some objects aren't cached.
After reinit of cache directory (delete and recreate with squid -z)
the errors disappeared.

i´m getting this error too.. but this because i killed squid proccess
(kill -9) ..
i think this error is normal...

If RedHat/Fedora, then perhaps SELINUX is active preventing Squid from
accessing

at a very high rate.. i've searched the list and google for this error
but couldn't find any reference to it anywhere. I would really like to
understand what this means.
