Thank you to all the people who are using BayesSpam. It was my first
successful opensource project, and it was a great learning experience. If
anyone has questions about the source, feel free to ask. I'll respond as
quickly as I reasonably can.

I'm using it with Courier-IMAP and vpopmail virtual users, so I would have
to say yes.
Try using the info plugin to issue a 'QUOTA "INBOX"' command and see what
you get back. Also, check what capabilities the info plugin lists.

Configure the proxy to not cache .php files. It's a bad idea to cache them
on the proxy anyway.

SquirrelMail has nothing to do with actually recieving your email. That
problem would lie somewhere in your SMTP/IMAP setup on the Linux server
itself, and is well outside the scope of this list.

Maybe I'm just not doing it right, but I've followed every instruction I can
find, and I can't get subject-based highlighting to work. All the 'address'

subject.
Is this a bug with 1.4.1?

Never used LDAP, but regardless of how SquirrelMail authenticates the user,
that user/password combo also needs to exist from IMAP's point of view. See

My guess would be that he's got a /ton/ of mail in one or another of his
mailboxes. To get around this, you can try a couple things.
1. Turn on server-side sorting in conf.pl. This may or may not solve the
problem.
2. Bump up the amount of memory available to PHP in php.ini. This /will/

I just tried to get your change password plugin working with my vpopmail/SQL

passwords. For example, one of my encrypted passwords looks like this:

In a continuation of longstanding tradition, I have released yet another
version. This one is numbered 2.2.2 and replaces the 2.2.1 version from
earlier. There was one more line that needed changed. For those of you who
don't want to download the new one, if you already have 2.2.1, all you have

I've tracked down and fixed all the problems people had reported with using
BayesSpam on the latest stable SquirrelMail. I'm not sure if the changes
will cause problems with older versions. Could someone who still has a 1.2.7
or earlier installed check for me?
Thanks!

I've had this version of BayesSpam sitting on my drive for weeks, but I've
been to busy to upload it. But, here it is at long last!
The new version should be compatible with 1.2.8 and 1.2.9 with
register_globals off, and has more optimizations as always.
Special thanks go to my beta testing team!
