Keith,
You asked:
I am SERIOUSLY considering building the Dee. What are your specific
complaints about the drawings? And are you considering building this model
too? If you are, I'd like to keep in touch with others who may be building
this model.
I'm probably going to get singed as a
Royce,
I'm curious why you didn't finish out the thread in the lathe if you already
had it set up and had roughed out the thread.
I'm NOT being a smarty-pants. I know you had a reason and thought it was
worth hearing.

Yes it is way too small for 45mm track too small also for 32mm.The true
ratio for the latter should be 1/19 ( 13.7 for 45mm) whereas the RH model
is, if memory serves right, 1/22.5.
But remember businesses have to think of their markets a true scale #24
would not get round most 32mm garden
Well, Trent, my thinking was that the desired thread was an ME thread, and my
single point tool was a 60 deg and I wasn't sure that ME uses a 60 deg thread

form was not the same, it wouldn't matter. And I also

Thanks Harry. While it may not be what I wanted to hear, it DOES sound
correct. Thanks for taking the time to articulate the answer. I
Thanks, Victor,

No, I have had no problem with the alcohol seeping through and causing a
fire.
Since I have always used aluminum flashing (very thin and easy to work) for
the sleeves and since the sleeves are in direct contact with the flame, they
seem to run hot enough to vaporize any

Royce,
I do have some experience in a very narrow area but I don't know
everything by a long shot, and don't want to, but since I've struggled with

As always Harry, you comments are clear and enlightening. So I was OK to start
60° threads as long as I didn't go so deep as to get into the radiused root,
crest issues ? And I have always wondered how some people got a degree (°) key
on their keyboard and I did not. Now if I could just find

Harry,
Your degree sign comes through nicely, however, I cannot duplicate it using
the keystroke sequence you reference. What email client are you doing this
in (the alt+248). I am using MS Outlook.

I bought mine from St Aubin Station, altough I picked it up at the
Accucraft office in California (near where I live). St Aubin's web site
is www.lgbpola.com. Since there's a limited production rate, the dealers
apparently have delivery slots reserved in various scheduled shipments
from China

The 2 4 8 sequence must be on the numeric keypad to the
right of your alphabet keys (with the number lock ON, of
course).
