W Ry Steamups during 2003.
The Spring (Summer) Steamup is scheduled for Sat and Sun - June 14 and 15,

Thanks hadn't thought of the 30" gauge! Since my railroad, the NPiPRR (No Place in
Particular Railroad) is totally made up, I could say it's 30" gauge. The I could get
those nifty models I like! And converting plans to 1:18 is as easy as converting to
1:24.

For my friend's Steamline Shay, I made a simple block system of wood. On a
8" wide wood plank I nailed and glued two small blocks with a "V" groove in
the top edge. The sideframe tie rod rests on a "V" block. This allows the
drive wheels to turn unhindered.

Tom, where did you get the bearing blocks to steam-up "Mimi"? Hopefully I'll
