Brad,
I have an orig. "Ruby" and an Ida, both are easy to control the speed with
the throttle. If running under manual control, the "RC" type lever that
comes with the Ruby is hard to get a "hand on", and an extended handle makes
the difference. The other option is to RC the engine, and I can gi
s *observable*: there was at least enough power to pull around a line of
13+ people in their wake for some time...all with *huge* grins!
Anyway, thanks to all attendees for making this a great steamup-it truly is
an amazing and great cross-section of (admittedly somewhat odd...) folks who
