Thanks, that's interesting.
Your /usr/bin/sugar (aka bin/sugar.in) will run gsettings many times,
and this is inefficient, causing unnecessary delay during startup.
Perhaps if you move this into src/jarabe/main.py which already uses
Gio.Settings?
You have worked on your master branch and the
Hi,
I thank you all for the guidance.
I modified my PR as per your suggestions and now the implementation of the
proxy feature is far better.
@Sam, as you suggested, I have now completely removed the need of
re-writing "proxy.sh" every time the settings changes and am using
Thanks for digging into this.
FWIW, I am fine with having my account deleted and re-registering. Whatever
is most expedient for the trac maintainers.

Hello!
Please report bugs for the webkit2 version of browse! It is in

Note the the webkit2 version of browse specifically requires WebKit2

Ahh, my mistake, i thought it was gtk2 based, since flash is working there.
I understood that flash didn't work because, flash plugin is developed
on GTK2 and Browse webkit based is developed on GTK3 ?
So i wonder why Flash plugin works with Webkit2 and not with Webkit ?

PS: Off
I think that is only present in the activity.info file.
One of my next steps is download every package and look at the
activity.info file for the bundle id as well as looking for signs of
i18n (e.g. a PO file). That might take a while.

Guys, one thing that is missing here is the bundle_id (org.laptop.Terminal).
This is supposed to be the unique identifier of each activity. Otherwise
it will be very difficult and error prone to match, prune duplicates, etc.

Thanks for the scripts Tony. I filled in other fields with grep of
the aslo# files. I think scraper.py does some sorting that causes
the collection list and the grep scrapes to not align properly (in
part based on case-sensitive sorting). It was laborious, it would be
nice to have an improved
Webkit2 is not a gtk2 version, is a version using webkit2 instead of webkit.
The port is advanced, but not ready. If you plan use it, please help to
test all the functionalities,
and finish the port. Who is working on that is Sam Parkinson.

Hi all,
We installed GTK2 version
(https://github.com/sugarlabs/browse-activity/tree/webkit2), flash works
very well, we are testing and until now, all is going fine.
Thanks.
