Hi all,
In the localisation of the activity Stiderule ([1] and [2] I would like
to know if the localized name for an activity has to follow certain
rules, e.g. a single word or no accents, etc. ?
The correct name in French is "Règle à calcul", that is a complex term

Hi all,
In the Speak activity, the drop-down list of the languages is
incoherent.
Some language names listed may be edited via Pootle in speak.po, whereas
other (as EN:"Ancient greek") are translated incorrectly ( FR:"Grec
ancient", to be replaced by FR:"Grec ancien").
Apparently, the file speak.

Hi again,
I just uptated to Sugar 0.93.5 (6 customized) from 21th Sep. and
noticied that for some strings (at least the string "Your documents
folder is empty" from glucose94/sugar.po), the English text is displayed
instead of the localized version (for instance in French).
I am not sure if this t
Hi,
I noticied a small issue in the "Power" page of the Parameters.
The English string is:
"Extreme power management (disables wireless radio, increases battery
life)"
The initial French translation is a bit longer and doesn't wrap
correctly, causing the end of the text to disappear from the fram

Hi again,
In the activity Analyze, I wanted to localize a few mixed strings, where
it is difficult to decide where is the translatable text and the
untranslatable variable.
For instance, in [1]:
Calling .GetJoinedActivities()
or in [2]:
.GetProperties() -> %(props)r
My guess is that in [1

Hi all,
The French localizers have a question regarding the TurtleArt activity.
We want to translate the string "Send speeds the robot".
Could someone provide a contextual explanation of the process involved?
I could'nt find where this string occurs in the activity.
TIA for your help

Hi,
I discovered and tested in Sugar the application "Openallure for
Learning" ( http://code.google.com/p/open-allure-ds/ and

a "voice and vision enabled educational software" writen in Python.
As a Python application, it's multiplatform (Linux, Mac, Win). I got
Hi all,;
I got evince working and opening a djvu file in Mirabelle.
I had to launch evince from within terminal and to open the djvu file.
This is intended as workaround for the impossibility to open a djvu/pdf
file from the Journal in Mirabelle.

vantage from the djvu format, at least in this particular case (an
ebook built from 2 jpeg pages), is that the djvu file is smaller then
the pdf file.

I tried to use the Read activity (version 86) in Mirabelle (either
