I just used F11 liveusb-creator to make a 2GB USB of soas-2-beta. It works well. (I did it in VMworkstation writing the soas-2-beta.iso to a 2GB USB Lexar Firefly.) The USB boots with Plymouth animation on all of my laptops and notebooks EeePC900 is fine on wireless also Loaded analyze activity
