Hi,
I thought some of you might be interested in seeing my first sundial.
It isn't finished yet, still need to install the gnomon and it's
probably getting too late in the year now to set it up outside.
Hopefully as I learn I will get better results.

Years ago I heard of a system with sundials in use in Spain to regulate the
irrigation of water. I can't remember I have read about it.
I think our Spanish friends can be of help to us.

Sundial friends,
I found in Oman a sundial which was used,up to today, for the distribution
of irrigation water.
The sundial indicates the water-rights of every irrigation participant and
instruct the waterguard for opening and closing the gates.
I'm interested to know if there are more examples
