If you chart the position of the centre of the sun
on the celestial sphere, for the period running from
one
If we want to follow the movement of the Sun (very clearly explained by
Frank King) with a great precision we need a tool (personal computer)
that contains and is checked by a clock with the wanted precision.
But then why use a mechanical or electronic clock to simulate a sundial ?
