I flashed the GSM "the geek way" and it seems to work.

I recommend using the latest version of qi. I had to do this to get the sd
card to work after my buzz fix. I used the sd card method to upgrade my
gsm. (note, you gotta wait a long time for it to work, patience with the gsm
upgrade.
